'WINDOWS 7 FORMATTING
& INSTALLITION'
Before Getting Started
1. Once you format a
drive, or reset Windows and remove all of your data, make sure that all of your
important files are backed up onto another drive. If everything is on the
cloud, like Microsoft One Drive, these files will be fine. But
anything on your hard drive should be copied to an external drive. After you
have finished copying your Documents, Desktop and other folders, disconnect that drive from the PC
so you won't have to worry about accidentally formatting it.
2. Windows 7 is far
better than previous windows versions (win XP and win Vista). 3. The install process is
plain simple and easy to follow

installing windows 7 with DVD disk.
5. – 31 steps total,
every step is screen-captured
6. First, insert your
Windows 7 Boot Disk into your DVD drive and reboot your PC
7. While the PC is
rebooting, you will be prompted ” Press any key to boot from CD…” Just press
any key
8. After you press a
key windows will load installation files
9. Windows 7 setup
will start
10. Select your
language time & currently format & keyboard input (United State)
11.Click install now to proceed
12. Setup will load a main or two
13. If you do, select you accept the license terms and click
next
14. If that’s the case, you will need to format the partition
where you previously had Operating System installed. WARNING: Formatting a
partition will erase all existing data on the partition, proceed only if you
have backed up all your files!
15. If you want to format the
partition, go to Drive options and format the partition where you want to install windows
7. Again, do this only if you have backed up your documents/files!
16. Click format and then yes
17. After you press Next, Windows 7
Installation will begin. Approximately takes about 30 min to 1 hour to finish,
depending on your computer speed.
18. After half an hour, setup is complete and
windows 7 installation is almost finished. Few more minutes
19. Now your computer will reboot, since the Windows 7 DVD boot
disk is still in the drive, the message press any key to boot from DVD will
appear. We already did that, so this time do not press anything Just wait 5 sec and your PC will
continue booting and finish installing your operating system.
20. Windows will continue
booting and installing, almost there!
Finally the windows 7 installation had been completed
21. Insert your name (this will
be your windows username)
22. Insert your Windows 7 product key and press
next
23. Do you want Microsoft
Updates for your new operating system? It is highly recommend you know…! Select
use recommended settings
24. It’s time for Time zone, select yours from
the drop down menu
25. If you have more than 1
computer, type home group password for sharing files. Make sure to remember it
26. Windows is finalizing your settings
