DC Dimming
Friends we can see a new smart phone can have a option DC Dimming. So we can think, what is DC Dimming and how that feature will have a better display or pitcher quality.
Recently launch Redmi K20 or K20 pro can have the another update and the new option come in DC Dimming.
Basically, it can see this option can have a many long time in our smartphone every LCD display can have this option.
When we can have a low brightness in a screen so how can low brightness in OLED screen there are two options.
1.) PWM - Pulse Width Modulation
2.) DC Dimming
When we talk about all the screen it can be use PWM technology example we can take a 100 percent brightness in mobile screens, so screen can always in on position.
We can take about 80% brightness in smartphone screen, therefore it takes about 10 out of 8 are on position and 2 are on position. This process is continuously running and users can feel actually brightness about 80 %.
If users can use 50 percent brightness therefore screen can have time in on position and have time in off position. This process or working in more and more faster in screens. So users can't be seen this type of interaction on display.
Therefore OLED Organic Light Emitting Diode screen are work on Pulse Width Modulation.
It can have a disadvantage of PWM.
Every user can have a different capacity of eye. They must be catch in the flickering screen about 20 to 30 percent of brightness. This type of flickering the users can have such type of headache. But those types of displays can have another option called DC dimming.
In this process of DC dimming the display circuit can have a power efficiency are lower in background of display screen.
If you can use DC dimming in OLED screen, so screen quality can't be consistent and color reproduction can't give better in that display. That's why it can't be use this technology.
But now a days many mobile can have a OLED screen. These mobile can have the option of DC dimming.
The majority user can have OLED screen these user can't be irritated with flickering. If under can irritated, so they can on these option and these feature can admit Oneplus and Redmi also.
