The Dummy Google Play Store is running in your smartphone even when the original app is uninstalled in your device and it keeps on displaying full screen ads at random time intervals.

Full Screen ads:

This problem is caused by an app that we downloaded in a smartphone and it keeps displaying ads on full screen, so the way to fix it is to find the culprit and kill it with fire. easy,And by fire means, go to settings - app - select app - force stop - storage - clear data and only then press the uninstall button.

Ads For what:
Showing aggressive ads and making money from them is a monetization concept used by malware authors. In this situation, full-screen advertisements were shown even if users were not using the app.

These malicious apps, after installation, continued to show installation signs of fake Google Play Store. It states that the Google Play Store needs to be installed for gaming purposes. Even after the user cancels the installation, the prompt will reappear, forcing the user to install the app.

On executing the parent app, it launched the dropped app. To create the illusion of the original Google Play Store application, they used an icon similar to the Google Play Store. 

These apps were uploaded by a developer named "AFAD Drift Racer" and belong to the free car racing games category. Some names include Cleo Car Drift, Supra Car Drift, F500 Car Drift, and more.

Lab Security by Quick Heal: 

Recently Quick Heal Security Lab identified 27 malicious apps on the official Google Play Store, prompting users to install a fake 'Google Play Store app', even the official Play Store already existed. Google has now removed 27 of these apps from the Play Store.

After installing the fake Google Play Store app, this app will appear for a few seconds before it automatically hides the icon. The app run in the background and showed full-screen advertisements until users manually uninstalled it.

Quick Heel Mobile Security detected these apps as "Android.Dropper.F" and dropped apps named "Android.HiddenAd.A.A".

Google Pop-Ups:

Google Play Games doesn't download itself or provide pop-ups for installation. For gaming purposes, Google Play Games is required. If a game isn't supported by the latest version of Google Play Games, shows pop-up to update latest version. It's redirects to the  Google Play Store App.

Check and remove Dummy Google Play Store if installed in smartphone:

You can simply check whether the fake app is installed in your smartphone or not by just few simple steps. Go to the settings followed by App and Notifications or the Google Play Store App can never be uninstalled and instead shows an option to disable. Such a Google Play Store app is found on your phone, you should uninstall it immediately.

Every time you install a new app or have any doubts about people who are already installed, check the reviews on the Play Store.
